ZG has designed, manufactured, and installed hundreds of biomass boiler systems for small applications requiring process steam as well as large systems such as electrical generation and co-generation. ASME certified Biomass, CFB, Steam and 0il boiler systems of ZG’S design are available, depending on the capacity, pressure, and steam temperature requirements of the customer.
Using an efficient biomass boiler, ZG’s biomass boiler is able to offset the majority of the heating thermal load for a complex that includes offices, a nursing home, and a correctional facility and replace older obsolete boilers. ZG led the design/build team for the project, including the design and installation of the fuel handling and processing system, ash handling system, new biomass boiler building, district steam heating system and tie-in to existing heating systems for each building, and a 40-kW back pressure steam turbine generator for the nursing home.
